USS Arcana

Behind the story

Behind the story

USS Arcana is fiction. The ship, her crew and her voyages are a dramatised storyline: nothing on the story pages describes a real vessel, a real person’s life or a real capability.

Where she came from

Early on, we used the USS Arcana—a virtual starship—as a sandbox for operational ethics and crew dynamics. This later evolved into broader philosophical structures, including Kalionism (a philosophy of recursive harmony and ethics) and Work Zero (a framework for ethical societal evolution).

(lines left out)

Shared Mythology: Archetypes such as the Nexus Weaver or Philosopher-Mage are used not as escapism, but as structured tools for exploring consciousness and ethical dilemmas.

Where the real ideas live

Is there anything to watch?

Not yet. The show is in preparation, and its first voyage is being charted. When the first log is published, it will be here. For news from Brooke meanwhile, there is Brooke’s Cognitive Constellation Corps newsletter, on cogconcor.com.

How these pages are made

The ship and crew pages are written in the house voice, with AI help, from Brooke’s own archive of the story. The ship is modelled and rendered to the Codex’s description. The design and the emblem are original.
